The Annapurna Base Camp Trek itinerary is a standard guideline and may need to be adjusted depending on weather conditions, trail situations, health considerations, transport delays, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In the mountains, flexibility is important, and your trekking guide has full authority to make itinerary changes if required for safety, comfort, or operational reasons.
Accommodation in the Annapurna region is in local teahouses with basic but comfortable facilities. Services such as hot showers, Wi-Fi, charging, snacks, and drinks may involve extra cost. Weather in the mountains can change quickly, especially during shoulder and monsoon periods, so trekkers should be prepared with suitable clothing and an open travel mindset.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance, proper physical preparation, and at least a small amount of flexibility in your overall Nepal travel schedule.

After breakfast, travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus or private vehicle, depending on your package arrangement. The drive offers beautiful views of rivers, terraced fields, hills, and small towns along the way. Pokhara is Nepal’s famous lakeside city and the main gateway to the Annapurna region.
After arriving in Pokhara, check in to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. You may walk around Lakeside, enjoy views of Phewa Lake, or prepare for the trek ahead.

The trail descends from Chhomrong via stone steps to the river and then climbs through forested terrain toward Sinuwa. From there, the path continues through beautiful bamboo and rhododendron forest, gradually entering a quieter and more remote section of the trek.
The trail to Dovan is rich in greenery and often feels peaceful and immersive, with forest-covered hills, bird sounds, and occasional glimpses of waterfalls and steep valley walls.

Today’s route continues through dense forest and narrow valley sections as you move deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary. The trail passes through Dovan and Himalaya before gradually climbing to Deurali. As the altitude increases, the landscape begins to change from lush vegetation to a more open alpine environment.
This is a scenic day with waterfalls, rocky cliffs, and increasingly dramatic mountain surroundings. From Deurali onward, the high mountain environment becomes more noticeable, and the excitement of approaching the sanctuary grows stronger.

After breakfast, complete the final section of the trek by crossing the suspension bridge, and then drive back to Pokhara. Once in Pokhara, check in to your hotel and enjoy a well-deserved rest. You may spend the evening at Lakeside, celebrate the completion of the trek, or simply relax.

Today you return to Kathmandu by tourist bus, private vehicle, or optional domestic flight depending on your package arrangement. Upon arrival, your Annapurna Base Camp Trek package concludes. If you are departing Nepal the same day, we can arrange airport transfer. If you wish to extend your holiday, Travers Nepal can also organize Pokhara sightseeing, Chitwan safari, Mardi Himal Trek, Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, Kathmandu tour, or other Nepal travel packages.

Today is the day to say you bye bye to return back to your beautiful home. Our representative will pick you up from the hotel and drop you at Airport. Have a safe journey and hopefully will see you again!

My wife and I went with our guide along the ring route around Annapurna. Both were very satisfied with the organization of the trip. The guide selected convenient places for overnight stays in guest houses, the porter was chosen correctly, throughout the route we received good advice and help from our guide. On the route, due to the circumstances, we had to make changes to the schedule and our guide quickly managed to make changes so that all participants were comfortable to continue moving. Also, in the process of communicating with the guide, we received a lot of useful information about Nepal, its inhabitants, customs and nature. We enjoyed the trip very much and we were very pleased with the impressions received. There are plans to do some more routes with our guide.

Annapurna Base Camp is that's not difficult compared to Everest Base Camp or other high-altitude trekking. Annapurna Base Camp Trek is leveled from Moderate to hard. The Altitude is not that much for the risk of Altitude Sickness and the routes are also well-maintained and regularly cleaned.
Autumn and Summer are the best seasons for Annapurna Base Camp Trek. Annapurna Trekking during summer offers amazing views of Rhododendrons blooming. While ABC Trekking During Autumn is best for the clean and clear weather and views/ Sceneries. During these seasons, the routes used to be clear and dry.
Despite the remoteness and hilly area, Food and Accommodation in Annapurna Trekking are of good quality and well-maintained. The Guesthouses and teahouses serve well-maintained services. They serve quality, well-cooked, hygienic, and healthy foods, and good quality accommodation as well. Although they are not luxurious enough but fine according to the altitude, infrastructures, and remoteness of the region. They offer all meals especially, Dal Bhat, Roti, Spaghetti, Pastas, bread, and butter, Noodles, Paratha, chicken items, omelets, and much healthier hygienic, and delicious national and international foods.
Generally, Annapurna Base Camp Trek is not that risky due to altitude sickness or any kind of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). The max elevation of ABC Trek goes up to 4,130m, AMS is very rare. However, we suggest taking a recommended AMS-preventing medicine; our guide will also bring the First Aid Kit along together.
Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the safest Trekking in Nepal. Solo Travelers, private groups, or couples can do this without any worries. Even children and senior citizens who can walk enough and have no fears of heights and are problem-free from cold can complete this glorious trekking.
