Trekking Guide Leader

Mr. Shankar Timalsina is permanently from Dhading district and currently living in Kathmandu. He has engaged into tourism since 2010 being a porter to learn about Nepali Tourism and know about trekking routes. He is affiliating with us since we are established. Mr. Timalsina is very hard-working, professional, and knowledgeable. As a trekking guide, Shankar Timalsina's role would involve leading and assisting groups of trekkers on hiking and backpacking trips in Nepal. This could include planning the route, coordinating logistics such as transportation and accommodations, and providing information about the local culture and environment. Additionally, he may be responsible for the safety and well-being of the trekkers in his group, and may need to make decisions or take action in emergency situations. Trekking guides typically have a deep knowledge of the area they are guiding in and are skilled in navigating challenging terrain, identifying and avoiding potential hazards, and providing first aid if needed. They may also be responsible for ensuring that the group adheres to Leave No Trace principles, which aim to minimize the impact of outdoor recreation on the environment.

  • High altitude Risk and prevention training from Nepal Tourism Board
