This trek is the half-completion of the E Base Camp Trek. Other than approaching Everest Base Camp, trekkers have all other experiences and memories of Himalayan Exploration. It allows the trekkers to admire the marvels of Everest and its neighboring almighty peaks within a couple of days of trekking.


Although Everest View Trek is short and doesn’t go farther inside the Himalayas, it allows the full joy of Everest exploration. It is equally enjoyable in terms of Cultural exploration as well. Starting to this Trek from Lukla and afterward the stunning and scenic mountain flights from Kathmandu to Lukla, we explore the typical village settlement of the Native Sherpa Peoples. We explore the beautiful Sherpa village, interact with the kind Sherpa people, and experience their livelihood in the high-altitude Himalayan region. The Mani walls and prayer flags make the trekking route colorful and add effects to your snaps. We explore the Sherpa market at the Namche Bazaar and visit the souvenir shops there. Namche Bazaar is the biggest shopping hub in the Khumbu region where trekkers can also purchase many Tibetan products and clothes.


Everest View Trek itself is so fascinating with the Everest View Hotel. Everest View Hotel is the best Mt. Everest Viewpoint offering the astounding vista of the Almighty Everest Peak. Along with Mt. Everest, Everest View Trek also offers picturesque views of the gigantic neighboring peaks and iconic looks of colossal of the Everest Range. Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport | (D)

Welcome to Kathmandu! Once you arrive at the airport, a representative will meet you and take you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day relaxing, recovering from your journey, and exploring the city at your own pace. Your specialist will provide you with information about your trip and will be available to answer any questions you may have. Enjoy your first evening in Nepal.

Day 2 : Fly to Lukla-Phakding (2700m) | 4/5 hrs | (B, L, D)

After a brief morning flight to Lukla, you will be introduced to your guide and porter. The trek begins with an easy walk through Chaurikharka village, descending towards Dudhkoshi Ghat (2,530m/8,300ft). The trail follows the bank of the Dudhkoshi River until reaching Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft), where you will spend the night to acclimatize. Enjoy your free time in Phakding, a popular stop on the trek.

Please note that Lukla flights are currently departing and returning to Ramechhap instead of Kathmandu due to ongoing upgrades at Kathmandu Airport. The drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap takes approximately 4 hours, so we will leave for the airport around 2 am. The return drive at the end of the trek is between 4 and 6 hours, depending on traffic.

Day 3 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m) | 5/6 hrs | (B, L, D)

After breakfast in Phakding, we will begin our trek towards Namche Bazaar, the largest Sherpa village in Nepal. The trail starts with a crossing over the Dudhkoshi River via a long suspension bridge and then passes through a beautiful pine forest to Monjo, which takes about two hours. Afterward, we'll approach the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park for a brief permit check before descending to the Dudh Kosi River while spotting Mani stones along the way, and heading towards Jorsale for lunch. From here, we begin our uphill climb toward Namche. Our trail along the riverbank is flanked by two crossings, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. Although it's a challenging climb up the hill to reach our destination, the stunning view of Everest from Namche Bazaar makes it all worthwhile.

Day 4 : Hiking to Everest View Hotel (Everest View Point) 3880m | (B, L, D)

We will begin our hike early in the morning to reach the Everest View Hotel, which is located about an hour's hike above Namche. The hotel offers a fantastic panorama of the Himalayas and an excellent view of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. After enjoying the view and sipping a hot coffee, we will continue our trek to the traditional Sherpa villages of Khunde and Khumjung. If you get a chance, ask your guide to take you to the Khumjung Monastery, which is believed to house the scalp of a Yeti. We will then circle back to Namche via the small airstrip at Shyangboche.

Day 5 : Trek to Lukla (2860m) | 5/6 hrs | (B, L, D)

After having breakfast, we begin our trek towards the Hillary Suspension Bridge and pass through various local villages. As we reach Lukla, we spend our last evening in a Tea House and celebrate with our trekking crew. You have successfully completed your trek, thanks to great teamwork and perseverance. It is a physical accomplishment that many only dream of. This is your final night on the mountain, which can be a mix of emotions.

Day 6 : Fly to Kathmandu | (B)

In the morning, you will take a short flight from Lukla to Kathmandu (please see note regarding Lukla flights). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel to rest and reflect on your incredible trek in the Himalayas. In the evening, we will meet for a farewell dinner at one of the top Nepalese restaurants in the city. We are excited to hear your feedback and thoughts on the trip!

Day 7 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu | (B)

Today, we will take a guided tour of Kathmandu, a city that has been a cultural and religious center for centuries. Our tour includes visits to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa (also known as Monkey Temple), and Pashupatinath Temple. We will also visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a center of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. In the evening, you'll have some free time to explore the city on your own.

Day 8 : Departure | (B)

On the final day of your trip, a representative will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. We hope you had an incredible journey and wish you safe travels back home. Until next time!
