Santosh Dhakal

Mr. Santosh Dhakal is the Tour Operator of Travers Nepal (P) Ltd, responsible for the planning, development, promotion, and implementation of tourism products, as well as overseeing daily tasks and training and motivating staff. Mr. Dhakal was born in Nilkantha Municipality in Dhading District, and received his education in Gorkha and Kathmandu. He graduated from Tribhuvan University with a degree in Business Management. In 2011, while in college, Mr. Dhakal worked as a porter on the Annapurna Circuit Trek, an experience that inspired him to pursue a career in tourism. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as a porter in the mountains, and then received training to become a trekking guide, which he did until 2016. After that, he worked in various offices as a travel planner, skilled manager, and head of the office. Mr. Dhakal speaks Nepali, English, and Hindi, and has traveled to many countries to learn about world tourism. He has undergone various trainings in high altitude, first aid, health and safety, climbing, history, and culture. Mr. Dhakal is dedicated to providing quality service to customers and wants to see Nepal's tourism industry thrive.
